John Keane,
painter,
made two visits to Israel and the Occupied
Palestinian territories in 2002. Based on this, he has produced an
insightful series of paintings entitled 'The Inconvenience of History'.
The exhibition was shown at the London Institute Gallery from 29 January
to 11 March 2004 and then went on to tour Belfast, Derby and Ramallah in
the West Bank. John Keane, in his work, has used some
Saffuriyya old photos.
قام جون كيان عام 2002 بزيارتين إلى إسرائيل
والأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة. وبناءاً على هذه الزيارتين، رسم عدداً من
اللوحات المميزة، تحت عنوان "التاريخ المزعج". عرض المعرض في
London Institute Gallery من 29
كانون الثاني (يناير) إلى 11 آذار (مارس) 2004 ومن ثم انتقل إلى بلفاست ودربي
ورام الله في الضفة الغربية. وقد استخدم جون كيان في عمله عدداً من صور
صفورية القديمة.
Le peintre John Keane est allé, en 2002, en Israël
et les territoires palestiniens Occupés deux fois. Basé sur ces visites, il a produit
une série perspicace de tableaux intitulée 'Le Dérangement de
l'Histoire'. L'exposition a été exposée à la "Londres Institut
Galerie" de 29 janvier à 11 le 2004 mars, et elle est transporté à Belfast,
Derby et Ramallah en Cisjordanie. John Keane, dans son travail, a utilisé
quelque vieilles photos de Saffuriyya .
